Lengthy promotion process and promotions are far from guaranteed, backloaded RSUs, certain orgs can encourage a less-than-ideal WLB, on-call

Pros

Nice base salary, signing bonus and stock options. Good promo opportunities (after the first year) Good culture and team. Team depends on your particular team though. It seems like there are a lot of good teams though.

Cons

Working hours not exactly set. Might have to be oncall and respond to incidents whenever for a few days every few weeks or so. I'm not especially looking forward to it.
