Cons

- Challenging interview process - Have to ask for feedback; not given on a regular basis (for my position) - Difficult to get promoted - Everyone I know sends me their resume and asks me to get them a job ;)

Pros

Leadership principals are good guidelines for life (IMO) on top of work. Lots of opportunity for those who work hard and have good self-awareness. The ability to prioritize and know when to say no are useful to your career success.

Cons

It is easy to get burnt out by the demands of work, especially if you're driven, or a pleaser who wants to do good work. Have had several biased bosses (e.g. sexist).
