Great pay, bad tools

Business Outlook

Pros

Great benefits, with the exception of limited holidays.

Cons

Custom in-house tools such as Brazil, Quip, etc are terrible. Leadership claims to allow divisions to act independently, yet will make an endless sea of red tape if an org actually wants to use GitHub or do anything outside of the "Amazon Process".

Pros

Working with smart people around you

Cons

You will get a lot of useless experience that you cannot use anywhere else, such as knowledge of Amazon internal tools, portals etc.
