Cons

From the perspective of a front end developer, Amazon mostly thinks that front end is a low lying fruit which can be handled easily by their hypes SDEs, no offence to SDEs but they suck at writing front end. So you can take a hint that a front end developer can become redundant pretty quickly and if you did, then you are forcefully mutually separated (sugar coated term for laid off). Honest suggestion- It was my dream to be in Amazon, but going here made me realize that its is just a company with which employees should not have any emotions attached to. They strive to be best employer on EARTH.. What a joke after recent firings. Not talking about people who got laid off, even people who were not were scared seeing all the lay offs. Their 14 or16 principles, those are some bogus things which they have to forcefully attach to everything. But the reality is, everyone works to save their as* else may be they will get fired. I got a good taste of this company, I do not think it is worth to burn out here. At last just know that- JOB SECURITY IS A MYTH.
