Pros

- Interesting, challenging work - You'll learn a lot and quickly - Some of the people you'll work with (absolute minority!) are geniuses and a pleasure to learn from

Cons

- Hiring bar is far too low - Short-term thinking - Company doesn't care about your wellbeing (comp/conditions) - Extremely toxic: people will take credit for other people's work/will not do any work that will not directly make them sound like heroes

Pros

You meet people from various backgrounds many of them often more experienced and worked on various tech stacks. Design, Groom ideas, Test, Develop and deploy. You get to do end to end development. Coding standards, proper software development cycle, scrum, operational excellence management, and best practices are followed well. Internal learning material on various topics, you can reach out to senior-level engineers who are happy to help most of the time. Easier to switch roles, teams, team helps you in whatever goals you want to fullfill as best as they can.

Cons

Work-life balance is not good. Customer obsession is key so employee is kind of on the second track here.
