      Place to start but NOT a place to stay

      Pros

      * People are smart and nice, you will meet a lot of international friends * Salary is quite nice for a fresh graduate. (25-30%% more than market average)

      Cons

      * First of all, this is a sales and personal assistant job, do not let the website fools you (all you do is calling people saying the same pitch, you do not learn much about industries ) * Second, EXPECT TO BE ON 24/7 (work at night and weekend - still you have to be in the office 9-6), you are the personal assistant of your clients, have to deal with them during weekends. EVEN ON YOUR HOLIDAY , they expect you to catch up and know what is happening * NOT competitive fringe benefits (medical insurance, holidays etc) * NO ways to punish clients even they reschedule an advisor million times and decided to cancel the call at last. YOU HAVE TO endure the anger and disappointment of the advisors due to the decision of clients. * OVER- AMBITIOUS top management, always say they want to double the size every year, without thinking much about how to retain and develop people. NOT a mature management system, people who are managers do not always know how to manage * the internal system and conference bridges always have problems * NOT many ways out once you are there for couple years, unless to go into Sales (Hence, turnover rate is really high)

      Great Place to Learn Fundamental Work Skills

      Pros

      - Great atmosphere in offices due to a good mix of intelligent people - Able to learn about lots of industries meaning each new project is interesting - Able to learn key skills around sales, AM, BD, people management etc - Able to develop softer skills - Early exposure to management and lots of responsibility - Can make good commission - Interesting client base - Plenty of training and PD opportunities - Intelligent founders and innovative processes - Fantastic CSR programme for employees to get involved in - Clearly laid out career progression in place with opportunity move abroad

      Cons

      - Top down communication has long been an issue but has improved massively over the last 12 months - Pay for Managers is improving but seems to still be a work in progress - Some teething issues with internal organisation due to high growth which should improve over time

      + Worklife balance - can continue to balance out an "always on culture" + Growth and flexibility is constantly constrained by the number of people we hire + There is a need for more continuous professional education opportunities + Days can be very meeting heavy, many of which could be more efficient or include fewer stakeholders
