      Pros

      Small team in the U.S. and Canada- opportunity for major contributions and to make change.

      Cons

      Facing giants (incumbent competitors) in the U.S.- extremely tough competition. Corporate decision to divest (sell) this business unit. Extremely broad and stringent non-compete agreements for all employees- can severely hamper anyone's career upon leaving.

      Not much to learn for young engineer. Tasks are very general.

      Working in Spain was wonderful.

      Cons

      Planning, communication and overall support is non-existent. In Spain, they have not yet invented some of the basic management principles that the rest of the world has been developing over the last century.
