      Toxic work culture and pretentious leadership

      Pros

      Adyen plus benefit and snacks / food in the office. This company is ok with blowing money on culture, so you can likely expect some cool offsites and parties, but it's all just a flex for social media

      Cons

      USA based management is pretentious and often rude. They have a sink or swim mentality and blatantly play favorites across all departments, people are rewarded because they're well liked and not because they do a good job. They let go of a sales rep who closed deals after a year but kept another sales rep for 2 years, despite him not closing a single deal. It was inconsistent and the manager's feedback are often accusatory, attacking, and not helpful. NO CAREER GROWTH AT ALL PERIOD

      Pros

      Trips to Amsterdam That's it. I'm just adding words because Glassdoor requires at least five.

      Cons

      Don't get sucked in by the Amsterdam trips and other perks. Read the negative reviews here, and you'll see that Adyen doesn't care about people of color, or people with families, or people with disabilities and medical issues. A lot of people drink the Adyen kool-aid and talk about how great the people are, how fun and challenging the work is, and how much they love the culture. But once you leave this place and find another job, you'll see how underpaid and mistreated you were.

      Diverse groups of people, worldwide industry, big market niche, huge market, great company potential, motivated people, lots to learn, catered lunch

      Cons

      Poorly organized, no knowledge sharing, horrible training, no real business process, bad team building, bad leadership, very secretive, lousy management.
