Pros

Adyen has a really strong culture. It’s a place where you can genuinely be yourself and speak up to management without feeling intimidated. The hierarchy is quite flat, which makes it easy to share ideas and challenge things regardless of your level. Collaboration across teams and regions is also a big part of how the company works. Another big plus is the international exposure. You work with colleagues from all over the world and often on global projects, which makes the work very dynamic and interesting. The company also invests in its people and team culture. Offsites and gatherings in places like Amsterdam or Singapore are a great way to connect with colleagues across offices and feel part of a truly global company.

Cons

The main downside is the office location in Bellandur, which can be a bit inconvenient depending on where you live and how you commute. Other than tha, the office is very nice.

Pros

The culture and atmosphere are really positive, even if things can get a bit messy at times. People are collaborative, work-life balance is good, and there are a lot of talented individuals around. There’s plenty of opportunity to learn, even if it’s not formally linked to performance.

Cons

Compensation is below industry benchmarks, and management effectiveness is uneven. Some leaders excel, while others focus more on presentation than execution. With strong talent leaving, the company should review mid-level hiring and leadership development to retain key people.
