Pros

Being a manager's friend, allows one an easier life and go through all the garbage

Cons

Never worked in such a toxic environment. Most managers have no qualifications, nor competences. Lack of transparency, secrecy, manipulative and accusatory environment, highly discriminatory and racist, persecutions and punishments, which explains the gigantic turn round of people. Very low salary and awards based on friendship rather than performance.

Hi, Thank you for your review. We are disappointed you feel this way and that this has been your experience of AXA. We want to assure you that we do take these issues seriously and the way you feel goes against the culture we promote within AXA. There are a number of ways that you can raise this, including speaking to your local HR team or contacting the confidential Speak Up line available on the HR Portal. We would value the opportunity to discuss your concerns in more detail. AXA People Team

Pros

The people. Good-hearted honest people. A pleasure to work with. Minimal politics.

Cons

Legacy systems and a reluctance to adopt new technologies. You won’t learn anything new and exciting. And recently a switch to offshoring their technical staff for short term gains. It will come back on them in a big way. The senior management don’t understand the challenges and think nothing of losing decades worth of experienced, loyal staff. It’s not like they pay market rates either. 10/20+ years service means nothing to them. Nepotism is rife. Mediocrity is promoted. Avoid like the plague.
