Pros

Good benefits, good career progression opportunities

Cons

Very unrealistic targets, adds a mountain of stress when you’re supposed to be “customer first”. Sort your priorities out! IT issues galore, very frustrating as they are not rare and can be very frustrating when trying to do your job. Communication from senior managers to our line managers could be so much better, and make our lives so much easier. Cannot fault the line managers, but they can be unsure of what to do to help us when we ask certain queries, because communication from those above them is terrible.

Pros

The business genuinely carers about its people and tries to do the right thing. You can see that in the policies they have in place and how they have responded to the pandemic and CoL crisis.

Cons

It is very complex but working hard to change this. The digital experience as an employee is not where I would have expected it to be for a large global company.

Pros

Flexible working, some great talented people within the business, feel part of a team, great to be part of an established global organisation

Cons

It could be so much better if senior management were in tune with what is really going on within their teams. It seems to be a culture where they wait for something to break fully before attempting to fix it, when actually the issues were clear in the first place and could have been sorted out. Unrealistic expectations in terms of resource, many teams are struggling and leavers have been at an all time high accros the business! I’ve seen some very talented employees leave, that definitely cannot be a good thing and I feel the business do no act quickly enough on these things. Salary is not competitive enough and I foresee many more leavers which will no doubt slow productivity and mean more work for already stretched teams.
