Pros

I am a loyal employee who works hard, enjoys my job and connects with my colleagues and stakeholders. So far really enjoyed my time working here lots of responsibility from day one but I have grown into my role and am thriving.

Cons

Would be 5 stars but AXA is increasingly forcing people back into the office when WFH benefits workers, their families and the inclusivity and diversity of the workplace in various ways. Honestly the cost and inconvenience or just preference alone is enough reason to let people choose for themselves in my opinion. I have never felt the need to join a union before this development. No consultation with staff or the union before forcing a decision through on an article buried in the intranet in June. Employees have become aware of it this past week or so and we are not in support of the decision. I read it and joined the union the same day. - Stop the blanket decisions on WFH - please live in the present and stop trying to force us back to pre covid. Working in the office was an outdated and inflexible way to work even then which excluded and held back people with mental health issues or who are neurodivergent or even just introverted! Let those who want to work from home do so! Also pretty worrying development when you take into account the recruitment freeze we’ve had done beginning of the year.. smells like quiet firing…
