- Location outside of Budapest (Érd) - Decisions of the Affiliate management are dependent upon Headquarter in Austria - Salaries in the Engineering positions are not competitive enough - Managers have generally poor people managing skills

1. Poor / No Appraisal 2. Very slow growth - Not gone one level up in 5 years 3. Salary package differs based on the region one is placed, while the amount of effort and work involve is the same. 4. No appraisal interview conducted since employment. 5. Projects executed at a very slow pace. 6. No opportunities to perform and stand out in a team of engineers 7. AVL have their own products / software / follow European norms which will not help in any other companies in India except for the OEM's that AVL work for. But if you want to get employed with an OEM, it is not allowed since there is a clause that one should not work for AVLs clients. 8. Too much monopoly involved in recruitment and promotions. 9. All glory and credits is sucked up by the seniors / mentors of the team in every region not letting the other juniors grow, although they might have exceedingly good skills and knowledge than their seniors.
