Pros

-Good workload -Other team members make you feel welcome and help out. -Get plenty of qualifications from the apprentice program. -Meet apprentices from across the country. -All accommodation, travel and meals paid for at college.

Cons

-Management can be poor at times and bring morale down. -As an apprentice, I felt like I wasn't really a priority and planning on the depot side was poor in terms of gaining knowledge of the rolling stock. -The apprenticeship, on the whole, could be a lot better. -Management often took apprentices off useful jobs for gaining skills, to do things such as paint or tidy up areas (sometimes for several days).
