Pros

One of the best starting hourly rates (11.70hrly). Minimum 25 hours weekly to be considered as full-time employee with benefits (comprehensive health, dental, eye insurance, matching 401k, easy to get time off). Limited supervision by managers.

Cons

Lazy coworkers. Limited resources. Little employee development. Low moral. Not the best clientele. Poor/ low income/ indigent, nasty, cheap and rude customers. Busy busy busy non stop on your feet working environment.

Pros

Personally at my store, the management is very efficient and professional. This leads to a great work environment and an overall great place to work. The company strives to be the highest paying employer compared to other companies for the same position. Also there are so many great benefits to take advantage of.

Cons

Sometimes the work load can be a little overwhelming. I have worked at store where management was not the greatest and that reflected how the store performed.

Worst Managers EVER!!

Pros

It is a job I suppose and I guess that has to count for something.

Cons

The worst management I have ever experienced. The management shames you, demeans you, guilt's you, micromanages you, and will manipulate you. I've seen men and women of all ages walk away in tears because of the way the managers treat the employees. There is no excuse for that. Unrealistic expectations and will demand that you work at 150% all the while saying that it's not good enough. The only people who work here are those that are left with no choice. Those who cannot find another job but have to feed their families. The company culture is built on moving as much product out the door as possible with no regard to the customer or employee. It is built on a shame based micromanagement style that ends with soulless people working at a bad job because they have come to believe they are not good enough for anything else but to restock bananas. There was no set schedule. Which makes it hard to plan the rest of your life.
