Pros

Trying to find the pros... can’t see to come up with anything... you get a check perhaps?

Cons

Where do I begin. First off the company has unrealistic expectations on truck completion. Senior management (DMs and above) are recruited fresh out of college and don’t actually have any knowledge how the store operations work or daily hardships in store staff deal with. Their logistic process is also severely flawed as truck sometimes deliver very late rendering it impossible to complete before store open and the company is too lazy to invest in an overnight process. They are trying to open new stores but are aware that they have 0 talent to run these stores but they just want to remain in a reactive approach against LID’L which is eventually going to run them out of business. Benefits are Cigna but no one takes Cigna so good luck. Last but not least the training is mediocre. They would say that you were trained on something because you took an online module but they actually don’t have any staff to actually produce quality training. They also capitalize of a lower income community and not in the positive we are here to help you kind of way. They are going to fail and I just wouldn’t bother if I were you.

Cons Definitely Outweigh Any Pros

Cons

Ineffective Leaders, Bottom of the Barrel Workforce, Dirty Work Areas and Mass Exodus of Talented Employees Don't Waste Your Time Working or Shopping at Aldi. They do not care about their employees, the communities they operate in or their customers. I was present at the warehouse when a mid-aged, long-term cleaner there had a heart attack & died in the cooler area of the warehouse a few months ago. A go-fund-me page was set up for the family & the only contributors were hard working selectors. Greedy Aldi Warehouse Management did not give a dime. And selectors had to keep up the pace, while this man died. What does that say about this company & its management? You can save a few pennies here, but there is such a thing as a corporation that is too big & has a monopoly of the market. Americans should shop at American run companies & keep their dollars in the USA. Not in early 20th century atmosphere Germany. Shame on the long-time management here for how they treat people. Karma will intervene eventually.

Pros

Pay and benefits thats it

Cons

Absolutely zero work/life balance-they say they have it but it's a lie...upper mgmt wants puppets and yes-men running stores...asking questions about common practices will get u labeled as "negative"...since the last brother passed the people in charge are changing daily practices and making them highly inefficient...u can't trust anyone...and the worst thing they do is strictly hire district managers straight out of college with many of them never working prior to getting hired...they struggle with maturity and understanding what hard work is and the importance of family
