Not worth your life

Pros

Good salary after 3 years

Cons

No work-life balance, 52+ hrs plus, zero recognition, much abuse, hard to develop and 'prove your worth' with constantly changing direct leaders. No chance to move stores/reduce hours/time back etc. Always on call, no peace on days off. Incompetent senior leaders, no tolerance for unions, no fair treatment unless face fits

Pros

Hardwork. This is a workout and keeps you physically healthy. The community aspect is nice - seeing the same people on a weekly basis.

Cons

You can't pick your coworkers or how hard they are willing to work. This can really hinder your experience if you do not work with efficient & supportive staff.

Pros

Pay is okay Health insurance is good and inexpensive

Cons

They string people along for years about promotions. People leave then come back in a higher position, they don’t value loyalty or tenure. Continuous outside hiring, instead of internal development. Store manager is a terminal position 99.8% of the time.
