Chartis has a well structured organizational structure and gives you the opportunity to learn and excel in the firld of insurance. It also provides you the backhand knowledge required by continuous training.

Cons

As Chartis Pakistan was previously known as AIG , American International Group which faced a huge downfall in the year 2008 the name was changed to Chartis New Hampshire Insurance Company which provided the company a new start but still some influence of the company is there.

Long-term view (willing to invest in markets that may not be profitable for decades). Local expertise (NOT a US company doing business overseas, but truly global). Improving balance sheet and (once again) a good long-term outlook.

Cons

Not an insurance business inside of an insurance company. Short-term prospects are still unknown. Given 2008 near bankruptcy, tentative management view is to be expected.
