      1. Fairly prestigious insurance giant 2. Most internal issues were not well-known until the height of the financial crisis

      Cons (poorly planned and executed initiatives, lack of management sponsorship, poor risk management and integration of acquired companies, lackluster pay, etc.) far outweighed the pros.

      - Health Care - Pension Plan - Matching 401K

      Cons

      - No opportunities for advancement - Poor pay for those truly doing the work - No voice in local operations - Managed by many NY VP's initially hired as consultants following the $182B bailout. Hired to establish operations, but not allowed to contribute. Company continues skirting the edge of legal compliance as the organization is not structured to provide objective oversight that is free of any conflicts of interest.
