Pros

Many health/dental/vision benefit options. Health insurance costs $300/mo for a family, but there are good retirement account options. Training is provided.

Cons

Very production oriented for $10-12/hr. Basically your benefit options will eat up your paycheck. Also, you must always push out the numbers. Quantity is valued over quality. Don't try to make a contribution or improve practices just keep on the treadmill to produce your numbers- work harder and faster- not smarter...

Pros

Pay is incredible. The company will give you the world if you ask for it. The building is also located in a great location, right on Water Street, with Chelsea Peer and the Brooklyn Bridge just around the corner.

Cons

This is a company with a lot of potential, but I find that the company provides very little appreciation for long working hours and hard work. Given the company is located in downtown NY, many personalities are very difficult to get along with. Almost everyong I've spoken to finds the work to be extremely unrewarding, and the company focuses heavily to find the best talent to provide amongst the most menial work tasks.

Pros

lots of insurance business, job openings galore

Cons

ole boy network is strong here - lots of deadwood employees who protect each other to the detriment of everyone else - huge tension between the new hires and the old guard. strong resistance to change. shared services are terrible and processes and procedures were ignored for 10-20 years until the company went bankrupt
