      Pros

      Good benefits, a lot of opportunities for career growth, excellent training.

      Cons

      Too many changes in a very short time period are pushed down to the production line. Underwriters are pushed to do extra work so their manager can achieve their goals. Sometimes it is not clear what the priorities are because many of the initiatives are embedded in the performance goals of different functional managers. In general, this should be a good approach as this should, at the end of the day, help to achieve the team goals but combined with changes in reporting, work process, systems, and increased work load can be overwhelming.

      Pros

      Lots of different things going on, plenty of opportunity, very diverse set of roles. Absolutely a place where you can contribute and be rewarded.

      Cons

      Difficult to navigate because of size, management tracks are virtually non-existent. Can be a challenge and rewards are not always forthcoming immediately.
