Challenging environment, depending on what division you are in can be exposed to many different layers of the company.

Cons

Conflict between "old" and "new" company, divisions do not communicate with each other.

Not many, if you are financially strapped this is not the place for you, figure at least 6 mos. ramp-up.

Back office systems are not challenging

Pay is good. People are nice, easy to come up to speed with tasks.

Cons

Not challenging. Everything is antiquated. I saw people who still used the old accounting calculators with paper receipts, and there were huge volumes of insurance reports from a mainframe wheeled around on chairs every day.
