Pros

Great colleagues to lean on. Our team was seen as subject matter experts. Good communications from our C-level leaders Nice location in FiDi Good vacation Good benefits Volunteer time off

Cons

Too much turnover. Saw too many colleagues get laid off or leave because of poor management in the department. Took away ability to WFH.

Pros

There are a few good people and a few good clients left that you will hopefully have a chance to work with

Cons

Far too many multimillion dollar comp plans for execs that are draining the company and they think the answer is to keep firing middle management and staff.

Pros

By looking at the history of this grand old company anybody can make out the magnanimity of the company in the insurance world. The brand is good. You can get better offers by the name of the brand AIG.

Cons

Particularly after 2008 company is changing courses every now and then and not in a mood to settle giving the name "Change is constant in AIG." Frequent strategy changes based on the changes in top management creates lots of confusion in the market as well as in the employees. The Indian offspring came after these changes at AIG US, is totally ill manged by local senior management who has nil experience in operating this type of operations. One of the group which is utterly managed by the director and manger duo from Delhi, is Risk Engineering. They manage teams with all type of biases you name it may be regional, gender, cast etc.
