Pros

Compensation is better than most insurance companies; higher pay rate.

Cons

Employees are overworked. The company does not value employee input. Poor morale amongst of employees. Lacking real leadership, no involvement on part of upper management.

Pros

- Great PTO and work-life balance. I was able to work from home as much as I needed/wanted - Great co-workers who are generally friendly and helpful - Hose-hold name in the insurance business and a great resume booster

Cons

- Lousy salary that's hilariously below market rate for entry-level employees (with low % caps on raises) - Does not promote from within - Heavy middle management layer is wasteful and creates a culture of managers managing managers (who then just manage consultants) - All the great benefits (including AIG's once-great Tuition Reimbursement Program) have been reduced to almost nothing
