Pros

The PTO is the only good thing about this job.

Cons

Ridiculous amounts of overtime. Manager actually says "think of your paycheck" when discussing OT. The ways they monitor you are ridiculous. They aren't even happy if you go above and beyond. If you're not within their numbers, they're mad. If you are TOO productive, they're mad. Working through lunch to get off early for appointments and what not is damn near impossible or you'll get told "don't make this a habit".

Pros

401K matching is tolerable & benefits weren't bad. This company gave me a chance to get my foot on the door somewhere when the economy was at it's worst in 2010.

Cons

Work was mindless with little to no room to expand. In Claims Processing, there is large deception game played by long lasting employees. I was often put down by my colleagues if I worked too much as we need to keep the average numbers down. I doubt management was blind to this, but still they continued to employee said individuals. Also, watched many departments get let go with little notice (this was during the recession though). Individuals were always offered jobs elsewhere in the company so that the company would not need to pay them severance.
