Pros
It is a large company with vast resources. For IT related jobs, the company provides the opportunity to work with a variety of tools that are cost-prohibitive to most employers.
Cons
My previous employer was aquired by ADP. While most of the aquired employees remain, not all have been so fortunate. Compensation seems to be slightly low even accounting for geography. Given the size of the organization, the leadership structure is extremely vertical. As such, there are limited career advancement opprtunities. This gets even more worse if part of an aquisition.
