Pros

Diverse, Free Meals & Snacks, Updated Technology, Nice Building

Cons

Poor Training, I accepted this position entry level with no experience in payroll, hr, or tax & banking. Training was cut from 8 weeks into 2 weeks. This information was not communicated with my specific new hire group until after we started. The training was not hands on 8 hrs sitting in front of a computer with at least 30 other new hires from different states via WebEx. The training is not designed to accommodate different learning styles. We were assigned clients before we even completed training. We were advised by the Vice President the reasoning for our short training was due to year end “busy season” and to sum it up the company had an overwhelming number of new clients looking to begin processing with ADP at the beginning of a new quarter. Depending on who your manager is they may or may not have the proper training to provide you with the proper guidance when you are in need of help instead you are asked to rely on your peers or other veteran employees who have their own clients and are already overworked. For the strenuous workload the pay is not enough. The company is constantly handing out snacks and free food to make it seem as if they care because they know we are being overworked. There is a huge disconnect between the sales department and the implementation department therefore you are constantly being questioned/ hassled by the sales department with questions because their commission weighs heavily on the success of the implementation project. Constant emails, and meetings. No work/life balance. You are constantly being told to “fake it till you make it”. During my now 2 months of employment I have seen 3 employees resign all due to stress . High turnover. Short lunch breaks (30 mins). Terrible parking structure. There is a lot of favoritism.
