Pros

Not many to share, but the pros are being able to take off without any issues outside of black out dates.

Cons

Everything about ADP is a sham. Let’s start with the pay and diversity. If you do not have blonde hair blue eyes with fair skin don’t expect to earn much money. I “have spoken with employees who have said positions were created for them” that must be nice. I personally work with those who fit the description with the same job title and earn about 7% -9%less than they do nothing is different we started at the same time, but I earn less. the only difference is being a minority .it’s hard to truly not feel upset about this the merit increases are laughable as well. I will say in general you are never rewarded at any company for your tenure and will always have to leave the company to get paid market rate or above , however ADP pays under market value by 25% and their merit increases are less than 3-5% which is an industry standard. I was giving a 2% which was pro-rated to 1.89% after my first year and a bonus that was also pro-rates. This equates to less than $13 more a paycheck after taxes. I was told ADP is “Conservative” with merit increases which just means in professional terms they’re cheap and don’t invest in you. Is is bad to want your employer who is executive heavy company to pay you a livable wage with inflation going up and living costs rising? Thanks for helping me cover a gallon of milk I appreciate you being conservative. I feel the company has a facade image of being active and positive with diversity/ inclusion, however they barely have any minorities in executive or leadership roles and if they are it seems more like a created role to uphold this image. I feel like I am number rather than a contributor to the company. In my role we are constantly pressed with tight deadlines that causes many errors to occur and when it does your leader will put everything on you. The other issues I’ve experienced being told I should know a little bit of everyone’s job and more will be expected of me after the slap in the face of a merit increase. It’s one thing if you already pay low wages and don’t plan on investing in your employees who are shouldering the load, but don’t expect anyone to do more or know more if pay does not commensurate with the role. There are many employee who feel the way I do, but we will not speak up in fear of retaliation and let’s face it in todays current landscape it’s hard to find another role so we’re all stuck. I truly hope this will be changed at some point, however I’d highly doubt it as I see people leave or are discouraged and end getting let go due to the unrealistic expectations. My opinion is if you’re looking to work at ADP know that it is only to help you learn the industry of HCM and you go elsewhere. The company ie truly tone deaf and has yet to make strides to improve that is why most employees on the in implementation sector are all 2 years or less within the company if that tells you anything. Looking forward to a shift in employers hiring in 2024 so I can go somewhere I will be paid fairly, appreciated, respected, and valued.

Pros

Not much to be honest, regret working there.

Cons

I want to clarify something, when you're working for ADP, you're working for multiple companies at the same time and you assume multiple roles at the same time, each client you work with will be a different company that you have to dedicate the utmost to at any time they contact you, so you have to handle multiple critical things at the same time. The training is STRONGLY lacking, and you "finish" the training, you will be taken for a ride straight away, I had some coworkers that could not get food with their wife / husband or go to the bathroom, this is a legit story. Avoid this company at ALL costs unless you're sure that you will be part of a team where they don't work you to death (probably by having a friend of yours already there and asking him / her about it).
