MAS is a bit of a mess- too much focus on numbers and acts like a call center even though there are dedicated account managers

Pros

Believe this role would be great introductory to the workforce to gain solid knowledge of the retirement industry. There is ongoing educational and project opportunities available. You can expect to work around 45-50 hours during non peak season but that number will increase during year end testing and filing seasons. -Good Benefits -Team Based Culture -Ongoing training -Stretch assignments/projects available if desired

Cons

The role can get very repetitive. After a few years and gaining the knowledge to complete the job effectively, the only real opportunity is to move to a different business unit which is very obtainable. Team Lead and Management positions become available but the qualifications and hiring process is not consistent. -Large Workload -Salary is less than competitors -50 plus hour work weeks -Lack of advancement opportunities -Minimal Annual Raises -Call Center Mentality even with Dedicated Clients
