      Where do I begin? I spent 1.5 years at the 407ETR and I have nothing but great things to say about it. Great pay, benefits, free 407 speaks for itself Family environment Feel appreciated Customer service Safety first At the end of the day, you go home safely and know that you made someones day better Respond to crash scenes Youll see things most people dont Get to participate in high-stress environments, team meetings, lots of events for employees. Every day is different and comes with different challneges and learning opportunities. Being the 407. you get the next-level technologies and much more different incidents than other 400-series highways. Also, planes do land on the highway sometimes, whereas the dont usually land on other 400-series highways. Again referring back to the different scale of incidents

      Cons

      As a patroller you do work mostly alone, so being independent is a big thing as well as initiative. there is constant coverage of the highway 24/7 so you will have to work night shifts, but youll get used to them. Always being on the road, especially in winter, you will need to be comfortable driving in extreme, low visibility conditions
