Pros

The company culture is the strongest I've known in my 10+ years career in tech. It provides a super sharp framework--from high accountability, to low authority, to benevolence, etc,--that aligns everyone from day one. One of the pillars is Your life your way - and after almost 2 years with the company, I can confidently say that here all the conditions are created for teams to do the best work of their lives--without compromising on personal life. The option to be full remote culture makes it easier to achieve the work/life balance.

Cons

High pace, high expectations - not sure it's a con :) it makes for fast and furious days, but it's fun and exciting (and sometimes a bit exhausting)

Pros

360Learning is a great company with strategic vision, fantastic product, and a culture that fosters growth and impact. You are enabled to succeed in your role and there is no lack of information/visibility as it is a very transparent culture. No top down management you are expected to set goals and achieve them. Work life balance is very important and actually possible with asynchronous style of work.

Cons

The very things that make it great can also be cons for some. If you are used to working in an office and working more synchronously/live all the time it won't work. You have to be adaptable to using collaborative technologies to communicate i.e. Trello, G-Suite. If you expect to work in an environment with heavy management directives and need to be given lists of things to do this isn't for you... maybe there are some people out there that want this.

Thank you for your review! Yes, it can be a bit of a learning curve in the first few weeks of onboarding to adapt to our asynchronous style of communication and collaboration via Trello and Gchat. But, we find that 99% of folks adapt very well, thanks to our comprehensive and transparent interview process. We want everyone to know what to expect to make sure it's a fit for them. Aside from asynchronous courses and learning paths, coaches, onboarding buddies, new hire cohorts, and teammates are there to support if questions arise throughout onboarding. We encourage informal coffee chats on video as well to get to know everyone. That being said, if someone prefers having a task manager, this wouldn't be the ideal environment for them, as the reviewer noted.
