Refreshing Culture, Great Place to Work

Pros

Convexity is a wonderful way to work. We embrace transparency here like I have never before seen, and this makes it extremely easy to always feel like you know what is going on in the company at all levels. Instead of constantly pinging managers and teammates with questions, information is easily accessible to all to encourage independent, productive, work. This level of transparency holds everyone accountable. We have high expectations of our teammates and I always feel like I am surrounded by smart people. We thrive in independent, asynchronous work environments, but our coaches and teams are still incredibly supportive. We celebrate each others wins and offer tips and suggestions when anyone asks for help or advice. It's a healthy level of camaraderie where we are not dependent on each other to get things done, but still have the ability to bounce our ideas off of others to improve productivity. I feel like I am trusted to do my job here. There is flexibility in work hours and the remote-first culture is at its best in this organization.

Cons

Convexity is not for everyone! Make sure you feel as though you could truly thrive in this environment. For the right person, this environment can push you professionally to the next level, but for others, it does not always work.

Pros

- Feedback is taken seriously at every level, including at a leadership level - I've never seen a company practice the level transparency that we do at 360Learning. For example, our weekly all hands includes an anonymous Q&A with our leadership team where any can submit any questions we might have. The team answers every question with honesty and humility - Autonomy and ownership of your scope. Everyone at the company is a decision maker, but that means it is also up to you to ensure you're soliciting feedback, being transparent about the status of projects, and anticipating the impact decisions will have across teams - Async work culture which enables greater focus and productivity, especially in a remote environment - Strong product that customers love (check out our reviews on G2)

Cons

- Not many opportunities to meet colleagues informally (I expect this will change quite a bit after Covid-19) - Scaling quickly which means there are growing pains that require adapting scopes and processes. If you don't like change and iteration, 360Learning isn't for you - We have work to do from a DE&I perspective, but I feel that our leadership team and others around the company are deeply committed to doing the hard work required

Pros

- highly motivated and goal-oriented team of people - CEO is very transparent and accessible - well thought out processes to facilitate asynchronous remote work - a very unique company culture focusing on transparency and accountability that is not just fluff - strong, continued growth despite COVID19 - a lot of growth opportunities for ambitious people - everybody is respectful and kind

Cons

- not a lot of face time with people - processes take some getting used to - could be stressful if you're not autonomous or used to driving and reporting on your own results
