The Egyptian company offers construction services and fertilizer products primarily in the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia. OCI performs large-scale commercial, industrial, and infrastructure engineering and building services; principal operating units include the Besix Group in Belgium and Contrack International in the US. Its fertilizer operations include Egyptian Fertilizer Company and Gavilon. In late 2011 the company announced plans to spin off its construction business to a demerged entity that will be listed in Egypt.
