March was a special month for BairesDev, as we hosted the first 2026 Global Ambassadors editions in Medellín, Montevideo, Porto Alegre and São Paulo. The Global Ambassadors gatherings are great opportunities for BDevers to meet their peers in person and strengthen relationships. This non-mandatory experience is designed by our Ambassadors and may include any kind of social, fun activity to foster integration beyond screens, complementing our 100% remote-first policy. Do you know the Dev Barometer? It’s our quarterly survey that dives into the minds of software engineers. This January, we surveyed 1,329 developers across 61 countries to see how AI is reshaping our industry. For this edition, we also brought a sharper lens to women in tech, finding that 64% say AI has expanded their ability to shape their own career growth. Virginia Moré, a Software Engineer at BairesDev, describes this transition toward higher-level design: “Before AI, I was focused on implementation.
