As a candidate, this made it difficult to feel I was in a professional and respectful evaluation space. During the conversation with the hiring manager, there was significant emphasis on commitment to the process and availability. I felt that being open about participating in other interviews might negatively influence the outcome, which can unintentionally discourage transparency from candidates.
