In the first interview we walked through my resume. I was asked to elaborate on projects and walk through the UX steps/design process. I haven't heard back yet on the results of my application.

The only surprise was at the end of the day, I met with someone who was not on the team or in the UX discipline; he noted that Amazon has a team of folks who meet with recruits to help ensure a more uniform interview process across the company. He asked some very tough questions about my desire to work at Amazon and was much more probing about my answers than other folks on the team had been. Overall a positive experience though.
