He began questioning my knowledge on tariffs, trade, China, speaking French, the current news cycle and basic economics. He also questioned my ethnicity based on my last name. He asked me what the 1st interviewer described the position as when I replied based on my notes he said the 1st interviewer had no idea what he was talking about and that what he told me were fluff and rubbish. So right then and there I realized I could not work for someone who did not respect his own team members especially as he was the one heading the department.
