Discussion started with ETL flow to SQL Queries. Testing questions were : difference between star and snowflax, ETL flow in current project. SQL questions were : Set operators, Difference between union and union all, Delete,drop and truncate. Asked to write queries on given scenarios. scenarios were based on Sub string, In string, Replace, Translate, Minus. Gave 3 select statements and asked how it works. group by and having function flow
Joins and join types. Data warehouse concepts. What is OLAP and OLTP. SQL Quires like Duplicate records. Case and Decode. Rank and Dense Rank. Difference between SCDtype1,SCD type2,SCDtype3.
