They asked me about my experience with recruiting and the new hire process
I was asked to share details about projects in my previous jobs, areas I do like very much in my job and what I do like less. I was also asked about my mistakes and my learnings, which is fair, bec no one is a master on day one.
What I enjoyed about this interview was that whilst there was a focus on my previous experience, there was also a lot of time dedicated to where the company 'is now' vs. the opportunities there were to help grow over time. This helped ascertain fit and approach early within the process as well as dispel any concerns around potential issues such as micromanagement etc.
