I was given a set of engineer coaching role play scenarios to talk through. I don't recall the exact scenarios - but they generally fell into the structure of "Imagine X situation on your team. What would you advise engineer Y?" or "I am an engineering manager struggling with X on my team, what advice would you give me?"
Most of the questions were around my work experiences and relevant past projects.
‘If I were interviewing to be on your team, why would I want to work for you?’ All questions were thoughtful and purposeful!
