The recruiter wanted an oversight of my knowledge and experience. My future manager assessed my performence and my understanding of the role by giving me an hour to complete a certain task (which was similar to the task that I would do in the role I applied for) and then I had to present what I did. After that we had the typical job interview questions.
There weren't any questions that overturned my expectations. It was consistent with what previous interviewees reviewed on this glassdoor site.
