There were no specifically important or unimportant questions during the interview; all questions were related to the field and focused on core concepts in networking, Linux, and intermediate topics in Kubernetes and cloud concepts. What I appreciated most about the technical interview was how straightforward and to the point it was. There was no expectation to explain answers in long, detailed speeches. This is exactly how I prefer to be interviewed. For example, during the technical interview I was asked to explain a TCP connection. I initially started giving a long explanation, but the interviewer asked me to be more concise. I then answered with just “SYN, SYN-ACK, ACK.” The interview was that specific, which I appreciated the most. This approach values strong technical understanding over fancy English, which is great because many technically skilled people may not be fluent in expressing concepts with lengthy explanations.
