1. What happens when you type: www.google.com : the expected answer is : what happens at each OSI network layer down to packet levels, different protocols used. 2. TCP/IP handshake 3. How does SSL/TLS encryption work 4. Symmetric vs Asymmetric key 5. How to debug a network issue if a host is unreachable, commands you will use. 6. Debug an environment with high load average: mention the tools you will use, what metric you will look into 7. Explain metrics in vmstat. 8. Simple python scripting to parse a log file and find out average of a particular column. Concentrate on regex patterns to parse the log file.
