Questions were based on knowledge of NodeJs and computer science in general. One of the questions asked was, 'How would you efficiently calculate the square root of each element in a very large array?'
I got standard HR questions and also a few technical ones. Not very difficult, every senior person should be able to answer.
Problem solving rounds were based around how efficiently I can code and also tested my DS Algo skills. In the technical round, there were questions on SQL, HTTP methods, Request Cycle etc
Questions regarding how to build scalable architecture.
How would you model a backend system to generate the data for the given frontend?
Some puzzles like two sum, string matching by comparing two arrays, palindrome pair in list of strings. Questions were mostly around the technology and were fine.
Can you tell me a bit more about the back-end experience you have? In what environments you worked before in terms of the team?
HTTP methods, API design best practices, and database design.
