Third interview was with the Security Engineer. I was told by the recruiter the interview was going to be a behavioral one, but the engineer told me it was a technical one once we started talking. The engineer used to be a frontend developer, so he asked me questions about a project I did using ASP.NET, MySQL, and AWS for a website. What are some SQL queries you used? What are some data types inside MySQL? What version control system did you use to work with your team? How do you establish a connection between your website and the MySQL database? What's the purpose of POST and GET methods for your website?
The interview with the Security Hiring Manager was a really wholesome conversation with no technical questions. What are your strengths/weaknesses? What would you do if your coworker decided to use Golang over Python (I told him earlier python was my go-to language). Talk to me a little bit about your projects and in which ones you had to implement security.
