The most uncomfortable questions was to give a consent for the hiring manager to contact my current supervisor before they even made an offer. I did not give them my consent for job security reasons, and because of this the hiring manager suggested that I have a conflict with my current supervisor. The final interview went well overall, but after I declined to give them this consent, it ended up in a denial.
