There are many times when we're exptected to come up with a straight forward answer as to why or what caused a part to be out of tolerance. Sometimes it's the ghost in the machine.
What products have you used? Feedback after interview was very discouraging. Anyone's confidence would go down.
A high-spec product has been discovered to have narrowly failed a routine test right before a small shipment. Back-tracing has revealed that this defect has been going on for a few months due to a minor production change. The failure was hidden because the tests pass general industrial specs but fail at the client's specs. The use of the product is not linked to human health and there have been no complaints from the client so far. What do you do?
