What experience do you have with presentations among superiors (managers, professors, etc.)
Does working late bother you?
The conversations with the recruiter and hiring manager were straightforward (behavioral). Case presentation - the HM will send over a small dataset with a problem statement that needs to be completed within a 48-72 hour window. The case itself was not challenging at all; however, the way they conduct the case and ask questions during your presentation is setup for failure. There are a lot of assumptions that you must make in the case and decisions / recommendations that you must make based on your assumptions. Although the presentation should be judged on the quality of your recommendation (based on your assumptions), it's obvious that they are definitely looking for a specific answer. And if your recommendation is NOT the answer they are looking for, they will drill down into your case and assumptions and siderail the interview completely. It was a complete waste of time and effort. Would NOT recommend interviewing with this org / role based on how the interview was conducted unless the interviewers are better trained on what to look for when conducting the case interview.
