Suffice to say the phone interviews were typical technical questions, and the onsite were still technical, but more specialized to the team for which I was interviewing.
Q1: programming task in pseudo-code Q2: a real task for testing something about VMs, host and scheduling
Main theme of questions are around programming, scale and efficiency using fundamental computer science concepts. Questions were around finding a pattern, counting number of 0's and 1's in a binary string pattern, reversal by words a sentance, heap sort related questions.
All the questions asked were related to the responsibilities of the role ranging from basics to advanced tasks that are required to perform the role effectively.
1.)Given a list of logs, identify the maximum visited web page and the user who logged in the most. 2.)Discuss the features of React and the custom hooks. 3.)What are promises in Javascript. 4.)Create a pattern which had some repeating structures, and optimise the code in O(log n). 5.)Resume discussion.
