Not specifically this but the questions focused on me; and not necessarily my experience but where I'd fit into the team that was already built. Something like: If you were offered this position what challenges do you think you'd have in getting up to speed, what tools would you use, and what do you think will be your key to success?

Who was the first person to develop Java and when? Do you know any scripting language? Difference between C&C++?
Threw phone on table. Asked to name model and operating system. (This should have been the red flag....)

The interview was quite simple, I had applied for a Java developer profile so I was asked basic questions on core Java in the telephonic interview. In the second technical interview was held at their office. This was also an interview about the Core concepts of Java and some key concepts of the frameworks using MVC architecture.
